These simple but ingenious straws are handcrafted in Brazil, where Yerba Mate is a cornerstone to many social gatherings. Rich in history, Yerba Mate has been enjoyed by centuries using these traditional tools. Now you, too, can sip in style! This classic design can be used with traditional gourds, or with your favorite mug or thermal cup. Slits in the bottom of the straw prevent leaves from being sucked up, while the natural bamboo wood protects lips better than metal versions which can be very hot during use.
Approximate length is 9", though each straw is individually handcrafted and may be slightly different. Made in Brazil. Hand-wash only and dry thoroughly as bamboo is a natural product and may grow mold if left wet.
