Prickly Pear is a cactus fruit, also known as a "cactus fig", native to the American Southwest and parts of Mexico. With their delicate, soft flavor (almost like a kiwi or wild berry) and impossibly vibrant magenta color it's no wonder why they've captivated the hearts of those who call this region home.
We start this blend by harvesting "Free Range" Prickly Pear fruits from our own hometown of Tucson Arizona at the height of summer. The fruit is then processed start to finish by our staff before being mixed with our gorgeous South Indian Black Tea base and bold Marigold petals for an astoundingly rich, delicious and authentic tea. This tea serves wonderfully hot, and creates a beautiful iced tea to sip on those warm, Southwestern afternoons.
