  • Rose Hips are the seed pods of roses and like rose petals, are an edible part of the plant. Rose hips are used for a variety of creations from sauces and seasoning to jellies and skin care products. For thousands of years, Native Americans have been using Rose Hips tea as a major source of vitamin C. So nutritional, the brewed hips were added to soups and stews after the tea was finished. Still enjoyed today for both health and pleasure, Rose Hips produce a tangy tartness of crab apples with a vegetal, tomato juice like finish within a thick pink liquor. Rose Hips take well to sweetener and are often added to herbal tea blends as well brewed alone.
