Its hefty size makes it large enough to steep in a teapot or pitcher, but small enough to be used for just one cup in most mugs too. The attached chain keeps the basket within reach, even in the tallest containers. Made of 18-8 stainless steel so you can be sure it will never rust or leave behind a metallic taste in your tea. 

Hand wash with warm water and mild detergent.
