The Maya Tea Company is a wholesale and retail broker of fine teas. We develop, blend, and flavor a wonderful selection of teas for individuals as well as cafes and gourmet stores. We have developed innovative products such as authentic East Indian Chai Tea in teabags as well as chai tea that can be brewed in coffee makers. We offer traditional classic teas like Earl Grey and English Breakfast as well as interesting herbal teas such as Hibiscus Punch and Lemon Mint. For wholesale clients we deliver bulk teas for tea service as well as commercial chai. We now offer private label services for small retailers to promote their establishment. History of Maya Tea Company

Maya Tea Company began as the idea of founder Manish Shah who noted the rising popularity of chai tea. Originally born in India, Manish drank chai throughout his life. Along with his brother Yash, he developed an authentic chai tea packaged in teabags for convenience and freshness. The new product was labeled MY CHAI after the first initials of the two brothers’ first names. Later they developed the first chai tea that could be brewed using commercial coffee brewers for cafes and restaurants. As business grew they received requests from customers and retail clients for traditional teas as well. Over the next two years the number of teas offered by the company grew. Today, Maya Tea offers over 40 varieties of Chinese and Indian tea for both wholesale and retail customers. We are proud to offer retail businesses an opportunity to help market themselves through our private label program. We are still a family run business, owned by Manish and his wife Bela.
